CAMPS AND EVENTS

Camps are a fantastic opportunity to spend quality time with our four legged friends, and cater for everyone regardless of experience, from the nervous rider to the more established partnership, everyone is welcome.

I am fortunate to have access to some fantastic venues around the southeast, and combinations may enjoy disciplines from dressage and polework to show jumping and cross country

We also hold popular relaxed camps with a lighter schedule, for those just looking to spend quality time away with their horse and friends, or to meet other new horse loving enthusiasts in a great setting with on hand support.

Sessions are to encourage forwards thinking positive riding!

The aim of our camps, is for everyone to have fun, and to go away having learned something new, or to further cement growing bonds.

We group horses and riders to similar abilities so there is no pressure for either party,  believing learning can then take place and a feeling of achievement.

At NSJ Equestrian, we use a variety of trainers to make your time away special and varied, camps also include entertainment such as quizzes, mechanical bucking bronco, giant play your cards right, demonstrations and Pilates to name just a few.

Camp Information

  • TopSpec are usually on site to offer advice and weigh the horse, and at many of the camps we have equine and human massages!

  • At nearly all camps, meals are provided.

  • Stabling is included unless stated otherwise and sometimes paddocks in addition to these.

  • Sleeping is usually done in a horsebox or tent, though normally a local b&b can be found if preferred at your own sourcing.

  • Most camps have limited hook up, and this is an additional charge, and on a first served basis.

  • We require campers to bring their own stable equipment, ie mucking out tools and water/feed buckets.

  • Some camp fees include bedding, but not all, and we can normally arrange for hay/haylage at cost, but again please check at time of booking.

  • There is strictly a non refundable deposit for all camps, and final balances are due 1 month before camp leaving  a few days to settle payment before the place is offered to another, usually on the waitlist. We strongly recommend taking out holiday insurance in the event you cannot attend as no refunds will be given.
